BRING A SUBSTITUTE WEEK

The Week of June 12th

 

National Bring A Substitute Week is June 12th through June 17th. It can be a colleague, a satisfied client, a son or daughter, a spouse or significant other, etc... Anyone who can effectively give your 60 second presentation. It cannot be another BNI member. Just think of the benefits your participation can bring:

  • Possible new members
  • Potential new business and clients
  • Someone to sub for you in advance
  • Your "Dream Referral"

We look forward to seeing results from this proactive, fun and interesting meeting stimulant!!!!!!

 

JUNE 19! Networking & Beyond

Anatomy of a 60 Second presentation -

This will be a look at what other BNI members see as they watch us give our presentations. We will look at the messages people pick up from our body language. Sometimes people pay more attention to what our bodies say than to what comes out of our mouths. This can certainly have an impact on how many referrals people send to us.

This is designed to help improve our public presentation and can have benefits in ANY professional environment - not just BNI! At the end, each participant will be given a DVD of their 60 seconds to take away with them, so they can continue to improve.

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS

THE NAME SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

 

Rob Burton, the Vice President of TCOB lead the chapter in a very successful visitors day. It was accomplished in four weeks with a board of members representing the top ten professions and each member taking accountability.

The turnout and the energy was incredible!! They had 74 people in the room (36 were guests). Six new members have been inducted as a result of their event and they expect at least five more to follow. They have reached their goal of forty quality members and now plan on exceeding it!!!

TCOB is growing and expanding. The next level of leadership within the chapter is emerging. Keep up the great work - BNI is extremely proud!

 

BNI GAMES

JULY & AUGUST

 

We are suggesting that everyone participate in the BNI game as a way to promote attendance and keep things interesting during the summer months!!!!

·  WHO can play - All Chapters

·  WHEN is it - July & August

·  WHAT is it- Members split into teams and earn/lose points for:

  • Being on time
  • Bringing visitors
  • A visitor joins
  • New referrals
  • Confirmed sales
  • Absence with no sub

The winning team will be hosted to a cook-out by the losing team. It will be a fun end of the summer BNI get together.
